THE YEAR 2000…
Some 23 years ago, Roy arrived at The Clarendon Hotel in Redcar from hometown Ripon. The Clarry, as it was so fondly known, to be honest at that time, was not really reaching it’s potential. Six months later, after meeting Jan in the Top Deck, people were queueing at the door four nights a week!
…AND NOW!!
23 years later, Roy and Jan find themselves at O’Gradys Hotel, and this has been the heart of business for the past 18 years.

After 20 years of ups and downs (mainly ups!) we are proud to offer:
Basic en-suite accommodation in 27 rooms at a very fair price
A restaurant with a 60 cover capacity, a team of four chefs, and fresh food daily
A function room - The Winchester - which can accommodate 100 people, and can be used for any occasion be it birthdays, weddings, corporate business meetings or anything in between
Theme nights - Steak Night, Parmo Night
Fresh daily specials prepared by our professional chef team
Extensive menu’s; available 12pm until 9pm Monday to Saturday (12pm til 6pm Sundays)
A Sunday Lunch offering which we are enormously proud of! Choice of five meats served with seasonal vegetables and all the trimmings, available in the restaurant and the bar area. Booking is highly advisable if you wish to sit in the restaurant!
Food Collection from the hotel, take away made easy! Simply book your timeslot, place your order and we will manage the rest.
The public bar and sports room - offering pool, darts, and all televised live sport on big screen TVs.
